2012

oops.

I didn’t mean to take a little break from blogging.  Life just seemed to swallow me whole this week.  There’s a lot going on here at the Cooper house right now.  Some fun stuff…some not so fun.   So here’s a little recap of the past couple of days.

{lots of doctor’s appointments, lab appointments, fasting, test taking, and feeling crummy}

{I could go a long time without eating another bowl of white rice for every meal}

{medical testing is more fun if you have this smile hanging around}

{The laundry almost ate me alive.  But YEAH for white cabinets!}

{a good old fashioned Nebraska snow storm.  13 inches of white fluffy goodness}

{Said snow storm left us inside.  So what’s a girl to do?  Paint of course!}

{Milk chocolate.  Are you surprised it’s not white?}

We have made some serious head way in the room finishing department.  The laundry room is 95% done (just need to paint the window when the weather warms) and the living room is 95% done (just need to hang the curtains and find a rug).  Can’t wait to share the finished results.

No definitive head way in the health department yet.  Although I signed a waver today to take part in a program using an experimental drug not approved by the FDA.  Good times people!

So until I can get back to share pictures of the finished laundry room tomorrow…let’s chat!  What’s YOUR favorite color of paint?

    i kinda found your cupboard of laundry even scarier than my mulitple baskets of laundry. Maybe it was the feeling it could fall and bury a person alive! Prayers for answers in the medical nightmare. Love you, sis!

    sorry you have not been feeling well…not fun. I loved seeing your pile of laundry and appreciate you keeping it real. :) I currently LOVE Dill Pickle from Ben Moore, did our sunroom in that. love it. I love Ben Moore Lenox Tan for just regular every day cozy color. Prayers for some answers on the health front.

    Prayers for your health, friend! Feeling crummy is just no fun!
    p.s. I really like your calendar in the first pic.. I have been looking for a new one for 2012 and needed one with big spaces to write in like this one… could you email me where you got it from? Thanks!

    La Fonda Jalapeno (the paint that Lowes sells- but I can’t remember the type)- coolest color of green in the whole world. It looks like baby food peas. I painted the dining room this color- and it has white trim– everyone loves it- but it definately is green.

    My favorite paint color is Sherwin Williams’ Sea Salt. It is a greyish/bluish color and it is sooo soothing and just the perfect color! Our bedroom is painted in this color.

    Looks like you are making some great progress! But I am so sorry that you are having health problems. I can only imagine how hard that must be to juggle everything and feel so badly. Take care of yourself.
