mid week rambles
We’ve got all sorts of crazy things happening around here. We are on our way out the door to head to Nebraska to see our new house! I have so much to share…but just not enough time tonight. So here are a few random pics from my phone with some updates on our week. If you “know” me on Facebook you may have seen a few of these already!
{Danny with his new pirate patch. We are still trying to avoid having eye surgery so we are hoping to strengthen the eye he favors!}
{Someone is REALLY enjoying his new found freedom}
{I started these quilts a few months ago before we found out about the big move. The girls wildest dreams have come true – they are getting their own rooms – so it looks like I finished their matching quilts just in time for them to have separate rooms. I think Miss Middle will keep both twin beds in her room though…always fun to have a spare bed handy for sleepovers. I definitely need ideas for some FUN PILLOWS!!}
{Crazy appointment week. Trying to get all those last minute trips to the dentist and doctor out of the way. Today I treated myself to my own sucker after taking all four kids to the doctor. My kids thought that was hilarious. What I really needed was a margarita. Once I got in the car and took a deep breath, I looked down and smiled at the reminder of my four sweet babes}
{The girls have three friends spending the night. We painted pumpkins and now we are watching Ramona and Beezus while I blog. Little girls are so much fun – loud! But lots of fun. One of them told me this was good practice for when I have seven kids and I thought…”you know me well kid!”
{We had to be out of the house all afternoon for our inspections. I ran in Pier One and found this couch that I really need for our new house. I texted the photo to my mom….she informed me that I actually needed TWO of them. I think she’s right. Too bad I don’t have the extra $1500 sitting around to make the splurge. Oh well…12 year old green chenille couches are close enough, right?}
Nighty Night, friends. We are officially on fall break with moving scheduling, pumpkin patch, trick or treating, Boo at the Zoo, and a Halloween party on the agenda! See you on the other side!
Whew…and I thought I was busy! Jason reminded me (while reading over my back, that YOU completed!!! matching quilts…yeah J, I just don’t have that kind of talent…oh we laughed!)
Best of luck Jenn with the move. Yay! I get to see you now at xmas!!!! We are driving! (did I just say that??? Jason thinks this will be a fun mid-winter road trip! Oh please pray for us!) Kids and I will be flying back though!
See YOU on the other side!!!!
Love ya, LC
