the sweat shop
Pardon my absence. But The Librarian came to visit during spring break…and the sweat shop is in full throttle.
That’s not to say we aren’t having fun.
Mr. P has taken the week off from work to coral the kids. But that didn’t stop a little someone from spending the morning in my studio (Like the drool? I’m embarrassed to admit what time this photo was taken of him in his jammies!)
Or stop us from celebrating the Luck O’ the Irish!
Then we were right back to work. (If you look hard enough you might catch a few sneak peaks at items that will hit my Etsy store soon!)
A bit of sewing…lots of laughing…eating…life plotting…(I know you are checking out our cool tees and you want to purchase one don’t you?)
Did you know she’s near referral of her Peruvian Princess? And you can support their adoption efforts by heading over to her blog “Fly to His Heart” to purchase a tee of your very own!
Our family has ours!
Gotta get back to work
What a gorgeous picture of you and your girls. I don’t comment much, but I creep around your blog alot – - and just wanted to tell you i’m thinking of you (and your sis) on your adoption journeys!! Can’t wait to hear more! Jen
i’m just drooling over your “sweatshop”…love the colors, the fabrics!! Makes me want to go sew and create…
CUTE sweatshop!!
and yes, i DO want to purchase one! i’ll do that soon! i also want your girl’s headbands! where are those from?
could i use anymore exclamation points?!
OMG! I WANT THAT CRAFT ROOM!! I think it might be easier for me to just move right into your house, rather than continue to recreate every room in your house, one by one! I am planning to put my girls together next year and that will free up a room for me to use as a crafting space. I can’t wait! I’m going to have to bookmark this post so I can come back to it when I’m ready to create my own little “sweat shop”!
PS: Me and the girls stay in our pj’s all day long during the winter months, unless we have somewhere to go of course! We call them “jammie days”.
Everybody needs to have a jammie day once in a while! Love your sweat shop. Can’t wait to see what you list in your shop!!
What a cute picture of you with your girls. I just gotta ask – is that really old wood you are sitting on or something made to look like it? It is such a cute backdrop, and I’ve seen it in several of your photos. Love it!
Looks like you had tons of fun in the sweat shop together. My MIL and I were just talking about how we need to hole ourselves up in a sweatshop, too! Speaking of the sweat shop, I had an idea for something in your Etsy shop (since you asked for ideas a while back). I won a $25 gift certificate, but I don’t have any girls, so most of the stuff just isn’t for me. But what would be SUPER for me would be some of your fabric scraps! You always have the cutest fabric and I’d love whatever you have left over!
You sure know how to make workin in a sweatshop look fun! Sisters are the best!
But what a pretty sweat shop it is!!!
Can’t wait to see all the pretties in the shoppe!
Oh my! Your craft room is divine. I loved getting a bigger glimpse inside. I’m excited to see what you girls have come up with.
I HAD to comment on this post…I love the pic of you and your girls…great shot, love the back drop! Is that Photoshop’d in or do you really have a floor like that
? I gotta get one of those T’s too that your sister is selling! Now that it’s spring…if that money tree I planted a couple years ago, ever starts producing; I’ll be snagging one up! What an awesome thing you all are doing! Have an awesome day.
short hairstyles…
