I have lots of prayers for this girl.  I pray that God will protect her compassionate heart…that she’ll never lose the ability to feel for others…and that she’ll grow to be the kind of person who uses that compassion to take action.  I pray that her love of learning will blossom and take her farther than we could ever imagine.

8

I pray for her child-like faith to remain…simple and pure.  That she’ll always know the God who created her loves her more than we ever could.  I pray she’ll never lose her individuality…that quirky sense of humor that defines her in such a fun way.

12

I pray for the diligence and hardworking nature she already displays to take root in her life and take her wonderful places.  I pray that she’ll always remember to add a healthy does of fun (not too worried about that one!)

10

I pray that her faith be bold…lived out in her every day.  I pray that God will use her in BIG ways.  I pray and thank God that I am the lucky one who gets to be her mom.

That is my girl at SEVEN.  Full of spunk and potential.  On the cusp of BIG GIRL but still hanging onto a snippet of LITTLE GIRL for just a bit longer.  Happy Seven Anna.  We love you more than you could ever imagine.

    Jenn,

This is a precious, tender post about a little girl growing up, getting smarter with each passing day, coming into her own, figuring out what this world is all about and where her place is in it, and how she can leave it just a little bit better than she found it. EXCELLENT! It brought tears to my eyes.

So glad that I get to be an aunt to this ‘little’ almost ‘big’ girl. It will be amazing to add one to the big girl’s club and join in on the fun. Love you!

Such a beautiful girl. All of your kids are… but this is neat, I love how you can take an every day thing (being in the backyard) and make it so special! I look forward to hearing about how things are going with the adoption and your family. See you in a few weeks for my A’s shoot! looking forward to it!
